 Recycle Bank
Recycle Bank is a loyalty and reward based system for kerbside recycling. Using ID and weighing technology, residents can earn reward points in relation to the amount of waste they put out for recycling. Reward points are then redeemed at participating retail outlets both nationally and locally.
The scheme was developed in North America just over three years ago and has been a huge success, driving recycling rates as high as 80% in some of the areas in which it operates.
EnviroComms are working with Recycle Bank to introduce the scheme to the UK and are scheduled to launch officially during the summer of 2008.
