Basildon Consultation – what Essex man and women really think of recycling?


As a company that is truly national, working across the UK (and even the USA!), it makes a change to work on your doorstep. During March and April, we assisted Adam Read’s team at Hyder Consulting on an intensive public consultation project to gauge the residents of Basildon’s views on all matters, waste and recycling, imparting some incisive local knowledge on proceedings.

Basildon is a highly diverse region mixing the traditional “London overspill” stereotype with the “millionaires row” (or aspirations to be so) region of Billericay. Roadshows were held at key locations with Recycling Ricky making a couple of much appreciated appearances.
